Meet Our Founders
New Harvest Reconciliation Church (NHRC) was founded by Pastor Maurice Johnson and his wife Kimberly when they felt the call of ministry on their lives and responded to that call with a humble “Yes Lord”. The church originally began with online services and met weekly to hear the word of God as they sought the Lord for a place to hold in person worship services. After much prayer and fasting, the Lord answered their prayers and directed them to 9008 Center Street in the city of Manassas, Virginia. A local Church opened it doors and allowed us to share their sanctuary to have Sunday morning service. We believed this to be divinely orchestrated as this church and New Harvest shared the same belief of loving God and loving God’s people. On May 12, 2004, New Harvest Reconciliation Church held its first worship service at its new location and God moved mightily during the service thereby confirming his approval of the ministry. Our church is a “1 Corinthian 13:13” church, one that is built on loving God and loving God’s people. In all and everything, we are determined to give God all the Glory.
