Founding of New Harvest Reconciliation Church

New Harvest Reconciliation Church (NHRC) was established by Pastor Maurice Johnson and his wife, Kimberly, in response to their heartfelt calling to ministry. Their journey began with a humble affirmation, saying “Yes Lord” to God’s call on their lives. This act of faith laid the foundation for what would become a vibrant and growing church community.

Early Beginnings

The church originally launched its ministry with online services in March 2024. Each week, members gathered virtually to hear the word of God and seek the Lord for a physical location to worship together in person.

Establishing a Place of Worship

In May 2024, God provided a space for NHRC to gather at 9008 Center Street, Manassa, Virginia. The first in-person worship service was joyfully held on May 12, 2024. This significant milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter for the church as a physical congregation.

Growth and Mission

Since that first service, New Harvest has remained steadfast in faith, holding on to the promises of God as He continues to bless and grow the church. NHRC welcomes those who are seeking a place where their gifts and talents can be used for God’s glory. As a Bible-teaching and Bible-preaching church, New Harvest is committed to sharing the Word and is filled with the love of God.
